Ruby Red Pomegranate

On day 13 of my annual photo challenge, I bring you these red ruby seeds of a favourite fruit of mine ~ pomegranate. I am fascinated by the colour of these seeds and their sharp, juicy taste. I know these are very popular in the Middle East and Afghanistan, in India this fruit is considered a rich man's fruit and eaten as a special treat. I love the Bengali name of this fruit ~ bedana. Are you fond of pomegranates too? And what is it called in your language? I am curious to know the beautiful sounding word.
P.S. Before I sign off, I want to tell you of my recent social network love. For my obsession with it can be no less short of love-- Instagram. While Instagram was getting popular sometime back, I like everyone else got onto the photo wagon, then lost interest and left it. Recently went back to it and I love the space. Have been sharing photos on it like mad and checking out profiles. Such photo inspiration to be found. Incredible! If you are also on Instagram please pop by and say hello. Would love to connect with you.
